Since it is marketing, there is no question that it will fit my plans. Perhaps completing the program will also strengthen and update myself. Of course, I will have the pleasure of having the diploma in one of the biggest country in the world, the United States.
I also know that one could not know everything in marketing. I knew professors who might have handled a subject of for five years or more and yet I have seen the same professor have updated himself with the same subject matter every now and then. There could always be something fresh and new in marketing, public relation and advertising.
The global complexities of the global consumer market, e-commerce, and strategic supply management are better learned in school with the one of the best faculty and industry leaders in the world than expecting to read them in the books or learn them from experience. The best practices of marketing research will always be there and one would be better equipped if updated with such techniques via diploma program.
As a marketing graduate, I know the price of always being there in the market ahead over one’s competitors in launching any new product. Being there first will tell an ordinary consumer that the company knows the business and it is better to develop customer loyalty. In the same way, I know I will have a competitive advantage1 among my age contemporaries if I will be ahead of them in terms of schooling and preparation.
On a practical or personal note, I am looking to work abroad (away from my home country), and this opportunity to study is really coming at the right time in my life. Since I also speak three languages. English, Spanish and German I believe and I could use that multilingual skill to connect with my professional goals. My facility of learning .the language I believe could help me much in the understanding multi-cultural background of different markets in the world for me to become really an international market expert.
